Wheel photos?

More random thoughts on wheels -
a. Would appreciate any pics of different wheels on yellow cars.
b. Sidebar note: The Tirerack pictur-nator has the car colors black, blue, green and PURPLE, but not yellow. Purple looked OK with the BBS's
c. Anybody ever used/seen black rims on a yellow car - it might add some edge to the car, but I wouldn't mind seeing what it looks like.
d. If everybody puts new wheels on their cars, the market should be flooded with used OEM wheels, but such is not the case. Wonder why?
thanks

Talking

Subjectively, replacement wheels not as common in the Porsche world as in say, the Honda et all world.

Hence, the used market does not generate the volume that one might think!

This kind of look is considered very "boy racer" where I live. Would not catch any self respecting owner have those here

On the other hand, the standard Lotus Exige comes with that color combination

There're quite a few used wheels on ebay from what I've seen. Have you checked them out there?

Huge fan

I'm a huge fan of black rims, and I think they can look good on a yellow car. That tirerack.com color selection kills me... NOT EVEN SILVER?!? But yes, thankfully they have the ever-popular PURPLE.

Which rims do you have now? Have you considered having your existing wheels powder-coated? You could save roughly $2k or so!
