Boxster 'S' Oil Cooler Fitment

Does anybody know if an oil cooler from a 2000 - 2004 S is a direct replacement into a 1997 Boxster? (No S model that year)

The number on the cooler is 996.107.025.57

Also, are any special tools or other parts needed to accomplish this?

And, if anyone has done this, how difficult was it to do?

Did it make any noticeable difference? (I autocross regularly and track it once or twice a year)

Thanks,
Mark

Yes, and this has been covered many times............ You will need a set of four O-rings (do not reuse the old ones), and will need to drain the cooling system first. Do a search for details.....................
