Talking Check Engine Light

After taking into garage over different matter they unplugged battery and reconnected since then the Check Engine light stays on and a funny noise comes from my exaust. Any ideas?????plz

It's impossible to tell you anything with so little information. If your check engine light comes on again, have the shop pull the code with a scan tool (which is what they should have done in the first place). The code will then help immensely in determining what is going on.
