Electrical gremlins '01 986

New to forum, please be kind

Have a 01 986 which hasn't been driven in 3 years. Replaced battery and have gremlins listed below:
- heater control panel dead, but blower stuck on high, removed fuse to shut off
- radio dead, removed unit and replaced blown 10a fuse on back, problem corrected
- top doesn't open, fuse ok. When lever pulled, windows retract, but rocker switch is inactive (although can hear a "click" that sounds like relay
- checked all fuses on panel, all ok except 7.5A @ position E7 (AC), replaced but as soon as replaced instrument panel came on as if key was in ignition (ie oil countdown, warning lights, etc.) and when key was inserted, engine would not start. Removed fuse, engine started ok.

All other electrical components seem functional.
Does all of this combined point to some single fault? Guess I am looking for some point to start troubleshooting. Thanks in advance.

BTW, this might have all started from having to use the "donor battery" method to open hood to replace battery. No arcing or anything out of usual, just FYI. (And dumb engineering from Porsche.. "connect outside power source directly to fuse panel and ground to body").

I would bet on the ignition. If you're lucky there is a cheap
Plastic part on rear of ignition that causes seemingly unrelated electrical issues.
