Correct Motor Mounts for 3.4L Swap

trying to make sure i order the right things. need to lower the motor / transmission for the 3.4L swap.

wayne at pelican gives 993.375.049.05 as the proper mount. renntech tells me this is superceded by 993.375.049.09.

can anyone verify this will work? thanks

I had thought you used 964 mounts, not 993 mounts (though they may be the same?)? For the cost of the mounts (probably $200-300 each times 2) you might consider just getting the X51 intake and leaving the motor at stock height.

i thought 964, too. wayne lists a previous 993 number on his site from his 3.4 conversion. i found that part, new, for $117ea.

no idea where to source an x51 intake other than a dealer. list is $364.....per half. i'm guessing i could get one from Sunset for around $550. i'll cut & weld my old mounts before i pay that much.....

That's not too bad....when I looked up the 964 mounts they were over $200/ each wholesale.

apparently there's an aftermarket supplier now (corteco). just found them at pelican even cheaper; $104 each.

Hold the phone! I picked mine up for 50 bux for the pair. Used but in better shape than my stockers. For that price if they go bad you can still get another 3 sets and be ahead of the game. That's my thoughts.
