Looks like oil smoke to me as well.

I bet you have a bad AOS right out of the box, they can be intermittent.

I've had customers get 3 bad AOS units in a row.
Disconnect the AOS and block it off and see if the issue goes away for troubleshooting purposes.

Don't drive it that way, just see what happens when the unit is disconnected and pay attention to the amount of oil in the intake plenum.

For what it's worth, I'm defecting out the new AOS I installed 1,000 miles ago. I still get the smoke whenever the car wants to...I keep getting oil in the "j" tube.
I'm also switching from 0w40 to 10w40 oil...

Good luck,
Kyle

Garage
I know that I am comming into this discusion a little late but guys, reallly, if it only smokes going up hill, then it cant be coolant. coolant is constantly at the same press according to your running temp.
Is it possible you or your bright mechanic overfilled the OIL you should be slightly under the top fill mark!
And if thats not it then it something in the AOS, maybe you need to replace the line to your left cyl head
Good luck with it
