Spoiler Doesn't Work on My 2004

The dash light turns on at 75MPH indicating the spoiler is not working. Dealer says the entire "spoiler drive" needs to be replaced to the tune of $1,200. Anyone else ever have this problem?

thanks

Mine has never failed, but here's the part... It's number 13 on the diagram, and it's $212 bucks. If dealer is telling you they will charge you $1k labor to install it, find a local indie shop to install it for you. It's not hard to pull off the rear bumper and spoiler assembly to get to that motor.

Good to hear. Make sure to remind them that when they reattach the rear bumper, they don't forget to plug the wire harness back that supplies power to the license plate lights.
