code PO131

1998 Boxster, check engine light on constantly, code- PO131, precatalalyst oxygen sensor, cyl 1-3 Best way to deal with this?

Can be:

bad wiring between O2 sensor and the DME

bad sensor

bad DME.


Check the connector at the sensor and the wiring.

Swap the sensor with the one on the other side to see if the problem moves.

If it does, replace the sensor.
