troubles - oil leak ... ;-(((

Oil leak from the engine. Anybody has a clue where the oil is leaking here from?

help!

It looks like the leak is between the engine and transmission, which means either the rear main seal (RMS) or the Intermediate Shaft oils seal (IMS).
To repair (replace), the gearbox & clutch have to be removed for access to both oil seals.

had it diagnosed today, rear main seal needs replacement. Will have the clutch done at the same time.

Since you're going to be in there, you can update the IMS bearing for a few more Euros and take the guess work out of that potential problem. Your situation is the ideal time to address the issue...at least have a knowledgeable tech pull the cover and see what the bearing condition is.
