I think my 2002 Toyota 4 Runner would bridge that gap nicely! It has 225 HP (so you know it screams down the road), it can pick up A LOT of groceries, and any turn over 45 mph it will tip over and do an awesome power slide on the respective door! I love it! My favorite characteristic is it's aerodynamics...I think the drag coefficient approaches a highway billboard. I will post pics of it at the drag strip as soon as I get them.....

2004 Corvette Z06. This is "my" car. I track it quite often at several road courses in the midwest. it's got everything. incredible high speed, low end torque that cannot be believed, and sticks to the track like glue(evidenced by it's 1G+ skidpad capability)
the Boxster S is primarily my wife's car, though it is a ball to toss around on the twisties here is cowtown country...

That IS a nice group. I would love to see a pic of the Z.
My g/f drives the Boxster. My daily driver is an F150. My thrid Z car is a heavily modified, 400whp twin turbo 350Z that is a blast to drive but a headache to maintain. Waiting for the Cayman with the DSG tranny...I miss having a warranty.

Hi, I've owned:
Cars
'87 Alfa Milano 2.5
'88 Alfa Spider
'96 Corvette LT4
'01 Miata LS
and currently the '04 986S.
Outside of K&N air filters I didn't do any mods.
Bikes
'72 Honda CB 450 -no mods
'75 Honda CB 500T - exhaust system
'79 Honda GL 1000 -suspension
'99 HD Sportster- exhaust, carb, ignition, suspension, seat and tires
'80 HD Sturgis - restoration, stock
'05 Buell XB12scg- nothing yet.
Thinking about an exhaust system for the box...just a bit confused as to which one.

I've owned:
BMW '02 330CiC
BMW '04 M3 convertible
my wife drives a BMW 325iT, manual transmission
Porsche and BMW have different personalities. I honestly feel that BMWs are better "finished off" The M3 didn't handle as well as my 987S, not even close. That being said, it was a helluva car.

Very clean looking Z. Nice to see one that has been taken care of. If you ever get the urge for a trip...we have an event each Spring in NC at The Tail of the Dragon.

Pic of 150+ Z's lining up for group shot.
Would like to get more 1st generation Z's to attend. Two fellows drove over 1K miles in a 1st gen and a Z32...both won their class.
