I also have a 98 Boxster and that has happened to me twice, both times after I went over a hard bounce. The windows would drop and not go up. I stop and start putting the top down a little and then put it back up and the windows would then work. I don't know if the switch is going bad or is mis-aligned or what but messing with the top works for me. Ed
