02box Registered User Join Date: Sep 2009 Location: alabama Posts: 47	free wheelin starter went to start my 2002 tip boxster tghis morning and the starter engaged for a second and then begin to spin without being engaged. tried a few more times but didn't have time to waste so took the jeep to work. my question is.. should I replace or rebuild the entire starter? the motor sounds good but obviously it isn't engaging. it was a chilly morning, would that have anything to do with it? Thanks
