question for the FDV folks

first: congrats on getting such great reviews for you products and services form forum members.

I'm wondering if you think I'd get incremental gains with you flash from my current setup which was done by techart after adding their v3 performance kit (headers, exhaust, enlarged throttle body, etc).

I've done no other significant mods to the car (at least, on the engine) since then.

that mapping was done in 2002 and I've never had a problem with it...just wondering if you think you could drive add'l performance benefits over and above their mapping.

FUHRIUS,

Unless I am mistaken, I suspect that your current re-flashed involved nothing more than a generic program designed for a 3.2 s. Moreover, I would be surprised if TechArt was even involved in the process. The difference with the FVD software, is that the program is tailored specifically for your vehicle based on the modifications it received ect... That what makes the FVD software unique.

p.s Any good photos of your vehicle ? It sounds like a nice "machine".

Johnny Danger,

Thanks for posting the FVD Brombacher special on this board (and a few others ). I placed my order last week, received my cable and software on Wednesday, sent FVD the stock file on Wednesday night, and received & installed the tuned ECU file yesterday afternoon. Nice gain in throttle response, and with the Fabspeed bypass pipes I put on last weekend, the car definitely pulls harder. I doubt I would have coughed up a grand for this software, but for under $500, it was a worthwhile purchase.

Call Rhonda up at FVD and ask her. She is very helpful!
