Cluster part number - interchangeability

Looking for the part number for a 2001 boxster.
No computer, no nav, 5-speed manual.
Cuurent (flaky) cluster is black. but I would like the silver or white if it is compatible.

So in other words can a S-model - or other Model year be swapped in?
I just have not been able to break the code.

I do not believe you can swap clusters across model years.

My cluster's digital readout for the mph was losing segments. Sometimes the bulbs burn out, but those are easy to swap out for new ones.

When I finally found an unprogrammed, (new old stock) replacement cluster, I replaced my black gauge faces with silver ones I bought off eBay and aluminum trim rings as well and it looks very nice and quite "Boxster S-like" now.

BTW, you can't reprogram old clusters unless you send them to Palo Alto Speedo in CA for reprogramming $$$
