broke the breather hose while changing the oil separator. any ideas?

hi guys.. a week ago i had a CEL and the car was smoking a light blue color. got the codes on OBD II and from what i read it appears that it s an air oil separator (AOS) problem. so i was in the process of removing the AOS when i accidentally got through the breather hose (which is the hose that goes from the outward aspect of the AOS and goes to the engine ). I ordered one but I can t find any diagrams of how to replace this hose. anyone has experienced this problem? the hose appears to be a long one and i just got it online. i am currently accessing the engine from the top but planning to open it from behind the scenes to check whether i can see where this hose attaches.
any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
