sway bar rubbing control arms after lowering

I Put some eibach lowering pro kit springs on last summer on my 98 boxster I just noticed after driving it this way for about a year now the front sway bar is rubbing on the control arms and actually wore in to them quite a bit there is now a half moon shaped dip in each one from the metal sway bar rubbing on them because of the springs brought the sway bar so close to the control arms ,my local mechanic thought we could put some spacers on the sway bar mounts to lower it a bit anybody else had this problem if so what did you do ????

Will getting aftermarket (shorter) drop links bring the bar up and away from the control arm?
