New Boxster Owner and Fuch Wheels

I am a new proud owner of a 2002 Porsche Boxster, seal gray in color, with black leather interior. The car has been babied from day one and is used as a fair weather toy. Since I am new to Porsche ownership, I have a question related to replacement wheels. Are there any Fuch wheels from other Porsche variants that would fit my Boxster? I look forward to any assistance you may provide and I really enjoy this site. Fantastic format and lots of good info and pics.

I'd be really surprised if they ever came in a diameter or offset that match the Boxster.

As a 944 guy, I love the Fuchs. I have never seen any on a boxster, however I believe its mostly because they will not fit or be worth it. Off the top of my head, the offset is wrong, but you may be able to fit the 16x8 and 16x9 944 Turbo Fuchs. $2100 and up for a good set.

The other opinion might be that the Fuchs would 'Date' the car's looks. I would suggest a good set of 17's or 18's OEM wheels.

Someone (a vendor) on Planetporsche.net recently posted pics of a cayman on Fuch's. I did a brief search, but couldn't find the post.

Dig deeper, its there somewhere.

Saw this Box on 15" Phone Dials.

Look into what 914 guys are using for offsets on cars with small or no fenders running wider wheels. I suspect you will find something that would work. Aftermarket repo wheels are probably your best bet.

Is there any reason they're not made for the Boxster in 17" or 18' sizes?
