Cali VS Non Cali car. Is there performance loss

I have a couple quick question:

I live in Ohio and bought a car from Calilfornia. Does porsche put emission crap on for only certain regions or not at all?

Long story short if Cali has the emission crap on it,

1.) How much Hp is lost
2.) Can it be easily removed or circumvented?

Ohio has no smog/emission tests.

All cars going to the US of A are the same for emission and safety... they all have 4 cats on the car with raised front-end.

Not quite right mptoledo..... Cleveland has emmision tests and I think Cinci does too. Its county by county in Ohio. None in Toledo.. yet, but they have threatened to start. I don't know about Columbus.

True, All US Federal automobiles are equally in compliance with California emission requirements.

I did not know that(thats why I asked).

I wonder how much HP you lose? I remember when I was a kid I had a mgb limited and we took the cat off and put headers on it. It definately made a difference. Now I definately am not trying to compare the 2 cars!!
