radio install

hey fellas, quick question about the radio

I have a stock CDR220 and the car has an alarm. I have an aftermarket headunit that I would like to install but was scared that it would interfere with the alarm system...

Are they "together" or can I swap it out without worries?

This is a MY00 non-S (stock with door speakers)

Posted this in the other thread (my KD-AVX44 DIY):

"The wire isn't actually in the harness, it's in a small micro switch on the left side of the radio chassis. When it senses ground it sets off the alarm. The stock radio has a piece of plastic to keep this wire from grounding. Just pull off the switch and the wire and you'll be fine."
