Holy $#!^, Did my motor go?

my 01 box blew AOS couple of months ago. BIG surprise!!
White smoke 75 ft up in the air and covered with full width of the street. had oil dripping out of the water drain hole at the base of the air filter box. but no coolant in the intake manifold tube.
No CEL light and the engine idled and ran fine during this event.
hope yours is as simple as failed air oil separator!
