Low brake pedal?

I am having trouble heel-toe'ing at autocross events because when I'm hard into the brakes the brake pedal is well below the gas and I end up reving the engine. When I drive on the street the brake pedal is just fine and heel-toe is a breeze. Is there something I can do to adjust my brake pedal to be higher during heavy braking? I just recently did a brake flush and the brakes are strong so I don't believe I have any air in the system?
