Low brake pedal?

I am having trouble heel-toe'ing at autocross events because when I'm hard into the brakes the brake pedal is well below the gas and I end up reving the engine. When I drive on the street the brake pedal is just fine and heel-toe is a breeze. Is there something I can do to adjust my brake pedal to be higher during heavy braking? I just recently did a brake flush and the brakes are strong so I don't believe I have any air in the system?

You can adjust the brake pedal height by varying the length of the pushrod coming out of the brake booster. You do this by removing the internal cover in the 'frunk', loosening the locknut on the pushrod and turning the pushrod (then of course, re-tighten the locknut).

The proper OEM position of the brake pedal is when the difference of the plane of the gas pedal pad and the plane of the brake pedal pad favors the brake pedal pad by 9mm.

You can custom adjust this to be either proud or shy of that dimension within the limits of the pushrod length. But, it is a static, pre-set adjustment and cannot be made variable with braking pressures.

Depending on the length you choose, you may need to also adjust the stoplight switch so the brake lights activate properly.
