Cloud of smoke -Porsche Boxter 2000

This morning right after I started the car I got huge cloud of smoke. I do not know what was going on. Can anyone advice in here. What could trigger that?

Welcome!

Poke around a bit (search) this is a frequent first post, the occasional plume is a common attribute of our engine design.

Not to worry! All Boxsters come factory equipped with the Batmobile smokescreen option

Cool

It really is big enough to engulf the entire car...

Hot girl gets in car, you start car, car covers you in white smoke, girl gets out of car, you ask why, she says the car is junk, then she gets in to the toyota that does not smoke...

Porsche (longest running performance and race car)= buick with bad valve seals.

It could be the air oil seperator. Get a mechanic to check it out.

It's an anti mosquito fogger system. The activation switch is located in the driver footwell right next to the spoiler switch. You probably inadvertently turned it on. Suncoast sells it for $499.99 if it ever goes out on you.
