Jake Raby Engine Surgeon Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Cleveland GA USA Posts: 2,425	It sounds like the oil passages in the vario cam assembly may be obstructed... I have experienced this recently with the same exact symptoms. Also, ensure the vario cam solenoid to those cylinders is getting power during the point of operation where it should be.. I'd use 3K RPM for a test point. I am currently doing a ton of R&D with the vario cam arrangement.
