Isn't it o.k. to mix and match front & rears as long as the front/rear sets are the same?

Dude just drop on some Falken Azeni RT-615s and put them on the front as well.

Generally not recommended. Of course, this all depends how hard you drive the car. However, I would be semi open minded to running PS2s on the front and say, ContiSport 3s on the rear. Something like a Hankook I don't know about. There is probably a very significant different between those and the PS2s.
