Anyone here with chip, headers and no cats?

I have giac chip and headers currently on my 2000 S, contemplating whether to add cat delete pipes and an aftermarket muffler. How does your car sound and are there tangible performance gains with the combination of these mods?

Thanks

I don't have cat delete pipes, but just ordered a Stebro racing exhaust and want to add the GIAC and headers to my 2000S. What type of gains (HP) should I expect from the GIAC and headers?

Let me find my dyno graphs for you. If I remember correctly it was around 10% gain at the wheels. By far the best mods for 986.

I have headers (no primary cats), evo intake/desnorkle, and softtronic upgrade on my 2004 boxster s 550 SE and butt dyno feels impressive... as many others have commented, the sound of the intake alone is worth it.

I have chip, headers, 100-cell cats and high-flow Dansk muffler. Only picked up about 25hp in my base 2000 boxster, but car is very responsive. It is louder than stock and a little raspy, I think perhaps a baffle is buzzing a little, but it still sounds good to my ear.
