Brake Wear Light Always On?

I wore down the sensors in the last set of pads and recently swapped everything out for some porterfield R4S pads (love 'em). Since there is no place for the sensors, I removed all of them. I was under the impression that without sensors plugged in, I wouldn't have the dash light.

Now I have new brake pads all around, but the BRAKE WEAR light is permanently on and won't go out...

Any ideas?

The sensor is a loop of wire to complete a circuit. So without a sensor the light is on. If the wires on the sensors are not cut by a rotor then plug them in and tie them out of the way. If any wire is cut then cut back the wires to near the connector and twist the ends of the wires together to complete the circuit.

Thanks for the reply! I thought it was the complete opposite...I'll have to fish the sensors out of the trash
