aFe Super Stock Induction Systems

i was browsing summitracing online catelog and came across this. here is a link to it.
http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=AFE%2D55%2D10720&N=700+4294907711+4294907600+4294924666+4294837101+ 4294925239+115&autoview=sku

does anyone have any experience with it. i have used the search function on this forum and have read many posts about intake systems for the boxster: all of them seem to say that all they do is increase noise but not much performance.
-thanks

hmm, never heard of a P-Car use AFE. Its big in the BMW and M3 world.

AFE is good stuff, but looking at this kit, i'd just get the evo, or a drop in filter. I don't see how for what they give you, how it should cost this much.

I agree with Benny, way to costly for a intake system.

Afe Super Stock Intake System

I checked their catalog as they approached our company about handling this line and saw they claim a 14 hp/10 ft. lbs. torque gain. Has anyone tried one since this old posting was made? It is part #55-10720. Any ideas on how we could evaluate?
