on board computer for 2003

i have a question about how to activate the onboard computer for a 2003 soxster
i understand that on the earlier models you could have the outside temperature turned on by the service department.
is this also true with the 2003 model?

Noxster- when i use nitrous
roxster-when i got the van halen on
joxster-for the guy who was the high school quarterback
