CD Changer for 2002 Boxster

Hello,

I am looking ofr some help. A friend has pulled the CD Changer out of his '01 996 and has offered it to me at a good price. Will it fit/function? What do I need to verify, etc.

Thanks,

Arnie

A Porsche CDC-3/Becker 2660 changer from a 2001 will work with a 2002. Your car should have a CDR 220 radio just like the 2001.

You need the cable from the radio head to the changer. If the 2001 had the changer as a factory option you will not be able to remove the cable to reuse on your car. You will have to buy another cable.
