I use Klasse All in One Polish (no abrasives) and Klasse Sealant Glaze. My car is black and I like the look of a poly sealant on it. If it were a different color I might consider a wax. I think the poly sealants look best on red or black. IMO

I use Pinnacle Wax - it has a high carnuba content and doesn't leave any streaks.

If you think black looks good with Klasse alone, topping it with a final layer of P21S really brings out a deep richness. Also IMO from a fellow Klasse user.

Speed yellow... the color I love but so does the police.

The swirls aint coming out by hand unless you are prepared to cry.
Its an easy DIY if you have an ORBITAL buffer. Just takes time.
Getting out those circles has to be done very slowly with buffer, at least an hour.
Menzerma Intensive Polish is a good choice as is Optimum Compound.
First with the white pad then with a yellow or orange cutting pad.

As for waxes for yellow or white I've seen first hand very nice results with a very inexpensive spray wax that you can get at NAPA stores or online at Duragloss.com
It's called Aqua Wax, best bang for the buck I've seen.
Great for post wash detailing.
As for your monthly paste wax S100 which you can get at a Harley Davidson shop is great for layering if your car sits in the garage most days.
If you drive it outdoors or park it outside allot, rather than using a pure Carnauba wax like S100 which tend to fade after as little as two week and attracts soot,
I would instead go with a full synthetic acrylic wax that lasts much longer, sometimes months. I find all acrylic paste and liquid waxes do pretty much the same job but I use FK1 Pink Wax (FK1usa.com). One $20 tin will last you forever.

Thanks for the tip !! I've heard that from other sources too. A layer of good wax on top of the poly seal really works well together. I'll try it. Actually I haven't yet because I always think I will add another layer of poly seal..... LOL

But then I get busy.... so mostly I've used 2 layers of poly glaze sealant.

Have you tried more layers? If so, is it noticeable?

BTW: I've also begun using Klasse on my harley (which is a dark pearl "suede" green) with good result

This is funny; we're like exact opposites. In the past I used Klasse AIO followed by 2 coats of wax. Never got around to trying the poly seal because the AIO + P21S looked so good.

LOL
I misunderstood before.... i thought you were putting a layer of wax over the polyseal which I have heard renders good results....

I have a black Boxster and black Mercedes. Both have had swirl marks in the past. I got rid of them beautifully using this method:

All Meguiars products
1. Clay bar entire car
2. Use sponge applicator with orbital polisher to apply scratch-X. Be sure to really rub it into finish.
3. Wipe off residue with clean towel.
4. Use a DIFFERENT sponge applicator and do same thing with wax. You don't have to work this in like the scratch-X.
5. Wipe off excess with towel.
6. Use orbital with a fine soft terry cover, and polish to a high shine.

So far this method has gotten out fine scratches as well as swirl marks. I've done this for years and paint looks great. Good luck!
