Brake lights

Hi everyone!

I just got a 2001 Boxster and I'm an absolute newbe to this car.

Already I noticed a problem I wasn't aware of when I bought this car: The passenger side brake light works sometimes, the driverside brake light doesn't work at all and the middle brake light works without a problem. Anyone any thoughts?

Uh, did you check the bulbs?

I had the same kind of problem when I first got my car. I even got pulled over for it by the police. I checked the bulbs and they all looked good, none burnt out. However, even though they looked good, some of the bulbs were in fact still bad. After I changed out all of the suspect bulbs my brake lights worked perfectly. You might want to try the same thing.

Kirk, this was the problem. The bulbs looked OK but exchanging them solved it. Thanks guys!
