I had this issue up to a month ago, the shop doing my new set of mods has a fix for this that is very affordable.
On Saturday I'm picking up my car and I will let you know if the fix fixed it.
From my understanding the secondary air system is used to pump air into the muffler or cats, or something to lower emissions at start up, there is a air pump that should be tested and then a series of valves. The system on the 993 had allot of failures and as our Boxsters are getting older with higher millage ours are failing also.
