Well, I have a clip I will try to post, but it seems to echo between the buildings. Also, my stock exhasut is out and it weight about 50lbs, so I would say the Stebro is about 35 - 40lbs lighter, it weighs less than 9lbs! The clip sucks and I don't know if this posting will work, but here it goes.

Looks like it didnt post, i dont think the attachment system here accepts sound clips, you might have to upload it to some kind of host that accepts audio and then give us the link to it afterwards. I cant want to hear!

I don't have the time or technology to make that happen. I am over it. If you want to hear it, I guess I can e-mail you the clip?

When I swapped out my OEM exhaust for my Dansk, I weighed both. The OEM muffler was 28 lbs, and my Dansk was 26 lbs. When I weighed them I did not include the u-pipes or any clamps or the bolts used to secure them...I weighed only the muffler itself.

I am sure, just from looking at the Stebro, that you're saving a good amount of weight though. I'd guess your Stebro is about 12 lbs, so a savings of about 16 lbs, imo.

I weighed mine with all the u pipes/clamps, etc. since I just put a B&B on mine that came with new U pipes that are much better than the stock Pcar ones.

Again, it must be significantly lighter than stock, so it doesn't matter.

I purchased the Stebro Racing Exhaust w/ Secondary Cat bypass pipes off E-Bay about 6 months ago. I found the exhaust has a terrible resonance between 2k and 3k RPM. With a hardtop on, the sound is unbearable. W/out the use of ear plugs this muffler made my ears ring. With the soft top up, the 2k-3k RPM drone is barely tolerable. With the top down, the drone is not an issue. Please note, I e-mailed Stebro and they had no solution to "fix" the resonance problem. They also would not switch out the Racing Exhaust with the Sport Exhaust without me paying a $500 upcharge and return shipping. I even offered to accept a used unit. The sound is wonderfull in the other RPM ranges but it was not worth risking hearing damage. I cut my losses and removed the Racing Exhaust in favor of the Stock Exhaust. I'm sure Stebro's Sport Exhaust is fine but I could not understand why a company that makes exhausts for some of the worlds finest automobiles would not make good on something I consider to be a design flaw. They should at least offer a disclaimer on their product or offer a solution to fix the resonance issue. :ah:
