Unhappy Speedometer stopped working

OK, here is a really wierd one. As I mentioned about a week ago the ABS/TC light came on. You guys mentioned it was likely a pressure switch or a sensor. I have not had a chance to fix it yet, but I did notice that sometimes when I start the car it does not come on, and stays off until I restart the car.

Today a new thing happened. The speedometer stoped working. The needle was on 0 and the digital guage read 0 (not to mention that the rear spoiler light was on). About 1.5 miles down the road the speedometer started working (both guage and digital) and the spoiler light went off.

Any ideas?

I believe the speedo takes it signal from one of the wheel speed sensors used for the ABS. Get the ABS repaired and it should sort out the speedo problem also.
