How to remove doors/fenders for paint on a 986?

Hi,

I've got a 2002 986 in the process of being dismantled to be painted. It's at the shop, mostly apart, but they've hit a road block... they can't figure out how to remove the doors and the fenders. Are there any secrets to doing this? Hidden bolts, etc? Or do the fenders even come off at all (part of the unibody?). Or is the common practice to paint these items in place with masking? Any pointers appreciated, else I'll end up picking up the pieces (litteraly) and taking it to another shop.

John
