Instrument Cluster Lighting

This morning on the way to work, I noticed that the light behind the clock in the instrument panel had stopped working. Electronic tacho and the odometer were still fine.

Question:
How difficult is it to remove the instrument cluster and replace the bulb? Or is it a workshop thing?

Car is due for a service, but if it is simple, I'd rather save the dough and spend it on some replacement rear shocks.

really easy... reasy if you combined the 2 words together .

Thinking of pulling my gauges and finding or modding my lights into red.... sorta like the old BMW guage light in the 80's and 90's

Lights are working again

Very strange.

Driving to work yesterday, the instrument light behind the clock came on again.

Today, was not working.

Therefore, it's not a bulb thing, but rather a wiggle contact (english term for the german "wackelkontakt"). In other words, a loose connection somewhere.

now then, I know that my ignition barrel is a bit loose, so I think it might be related to that.

Does anyone have any thought if it could be something else? Or any experiences?

Time for action,
Can someone give me some hints on how to pull the instrument cluster out?

I want to check if there is a loose connection at the back
