Passenger Seat Rattle

anyone ever experience a rattling passenger seat while cruising along? The back of the seat shakes causing a annoying noise. If you grab the seat it will stop.. Any ideas? Can the seat back be tightned down any?

What is you change the angle of the seat-back or the position?

thanks for the reply.. I have tried to change the seat back position.. and it helps "slightly" however, not enough. Unless I move seat back way back (into the roll bar) then it stops squeeking / rattling. It seems the seat back has too much "play" in it? I can grab it and move it slightly back and forth and creat the same sound.... Just wondering if the seat back can be slightly tightened down?

I have exactly the same rattle in my 01 and, unfortunately, haven't yet figured out how to fix it. Hopefully, someone will have an answer

I complained about the same early on to the dealership. Same problem - the thing could really get going, so there was a 1-2" swing going at the top of the seat. Well, when I told them about it, they gave me one of those looks... after other experiences with them I was glad they didn't screw with it after all.

It seemed to go away on its own over time. Maybe "the look" fixed it.

I have no other reason to go to the dealer, but if having the service advisor "look" at it solves the problem, I'll make an appointment tomorrow.
