How to Reprogram a Module Using Ford IDS and VCM

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a 2017 Ford F-250 that requires some work, including replacing the Body Control Module (BCM). I have the Ford IDS software and VCM, and they are working well. However, this is my first time programming a BCM, and finding detailed guidance online has been challenging.

Here's the situation: When I install the new BCM (which I bought from the dealer), it fails to connect to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). On the other hand, the old BCM allows me to connect to the PCM without any issues.

Could someone please provide guidance or step-by-step instructions on how to properly reprogram the BCM using Ford IDS and VCM? Am I missing a crucial step or setting?
