A typical winter day has a low of 38 degrees, and high of 43. Not that bad.
Then there are the summers. Not humid, and rarely over 90 degrees with very long days. Sunrise around 5:30 am, sunset just after 9 pm.

Definitely.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the cold and snow. I will miss them both, but I won’t miss seeing nothing around me but shopping centers and crop fields.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh! If you like/love the cold and snow... you'll be in heaven! My wife likes the cold... I like the heat (~120 in 92262 Saturday). I wake up at 2A with the aircon running and 64 degrees in the house!!! I'm wearing sweaters and it's 100+ outside, lol.
Haven't been to Kansas, but second wife came from Minnesota. Visited a couple times and couldn't imagine living where the horizon has no definition. You'll love the hills and mountains. If you're into outdoor activities... again, you'll be in heaven.
Cheers, Pal!

And KC is a crime infested ****hole. The media likes to harp on how bad the Chicago murder rate is, but per capita, KC is actually worse. Four murders in less than 24 hours last Tuesday.
That’s one of the reasons we want out.

Wait. Crime? S hithole? Murder? Starting to sound like an invitation for Piper to join the conversation.

Why, thanks for the invite, Starter! I was chomping at the bits!
Sadly, it's Rump himself who keeps harping on Chicago's crime. Talk about being a wedge....

Sadly, many cities have a crime problem, fed by a drug problem, which was mostly fed by some unscrupulous pharmaceutical companies who pushed their drugs and claimed they were not addictive.

Dave Chapelle, in his recent special, made a great connection between the crack epidemic (not fueled by big pharma) and the opioid crisis (fueled by big pharma). It's a few minute bit, and funny.

Chapelle is great. Would you have a link to that bit? I'd love to see it.
