Epilepsy Fundraiser

We are participating in the Walk for Epilepsy Awareness this year. This is Megan’s third year walking for Epilepsy Awareness. She was diagnosed in January 2017 and we have been through a ‘whirl-wind’ since then. I remember very distinctly the doctor telling us during our first visit we she had the ‘good Epilepsy’, lets just say this no ‘good’ version. We haven’t found a medication that works without side-effects that are worse than the seizures. Megan has seen some dark days but has persevered and is active in the Epilepsy community. She played for the high school tennis team this year and after a two year hiatus she has rejoined the swim team.

Epilepsy is a lonely disorder which is extra hard on teenagers. Any support is greatly appreciated.
