It's gorgeous but it's not only NOT a roadster but it's not, by definition, even a sports car. A "sports car" is usually a two seat, two door car - always has been. The 911 & therefore Carrera have - except rarely been a two-seater - therefore, not a true sports car. I know, I know it is one of (if not the) most iconic "sports cars" in the world. That said, if you want a true sports car from true definition with true sports-car handling don't worry about the Carrera and focus on the best roadster made - the Boxster. The Caymen is also a great sports car but, to me, it's all about the convertible.
All that said, I don't care what they do to the Carrera, it doesn't thrill behind the wheel like the Box does anyway.
