Problem, Tony, is as your charts show, the planet has been warming and cooling on its own since it came into being. The charge that CO2 is the current culprit is what is suspect. This is only a theory, not a given fact. Some will claim that it is a fact and want to stifle any other scientists that disagree. That alone should be a tip off that something is amiss. Science is ongoing research with theories being debunked all the time. Also a TAX increase being proposed as the answer also should cause bells to go off. As I still see it if the GLOBE is warming there should be only record high temps and NO record low temps. If as stated before that the cold is proof that it is getting warmer then summer heat should prove that it is getting colder. You can't have it both ways. Lots of strange activity on the sun lately that would account for change also many think it is actually getting colder, not warmer. Whatever the case the ongoing debate here has been mostly civil and enjoyable. Thanks for your input and passion for your cause.
