Hello everyone. I'm new here and fairly new to the Porsche Boxster community. I bought a 2000 Boxster 2.7L base about a year ago. I chased down some vacuum leaks and changed the MAF and the car was running great until a few weeks ago. I noticed a slight power drop, but no CEL. I read through a couple of forums that cleaning the MAF (latest updated) and air filter (K&N, non-oiled) was the most mentioned an easiest. So I did that. That didn't change anything. And shortly after driving it codes P1126, P1130, and P1133 popped up.
So, I thought maybe I have or had caused a vacuum leak somewhere because of the codes. I checked the boots/hoses leading in, out, and around the intake and made sure everything was tight. I did tighten a few clamps. Well, after that, the Boxster really started to run like crap then it went into limp mode. Could I have overtightened the clamps and actually caused a vacuum leak? Could I have screwed up my MAF with the CRC MAF spray cleaner or with the K&N air filter? I read in another forum that it's best to run the OEM air filter and not the K&N because of a possible ECU issue.
Advice please. Thanks in advance.
