Hi all, in the process of picking up a little project car here in the UAE and wanted to ask a few questions about the car, prior to getting started.
It’s a 2000 boxster S convertible with 120,000km on the clock. Sadly no history on the car from the current seller, only 1 key available and the manuals. Previous owner had it for 6 years now and prior it was sat in a basement parking for years ready to get scrapped.
It has a tech art body kit on it and wheels, is there a way to verify if this was actually done by techart or is an aftermarket kit?

It needs a a lot of body work and seller said he did IMS bearing, roof and windows all work and he’s built his own exhaust for it which doesn’t sound to bad, but I’d like to put something OEM+ under it. Lights at the front need replacing and rear have clear glass lenses which I would also want to exchange for OEM.
I will be redoing the exterior and probably some of the interior to get it looking mint again and have a fun little car for winter out here.
