BoxsterSki Registered User Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Walnut Posts: 1	I'm pretty sure you have a problem within the transmission unit. Possible both sides which has caused your damage. There's a plastic gear that breaks causing the problem. There are replacement parts advertised on-line. Some fit some don't I read. I'm experiencing this problem on my 986
