Angry New member help !

Hi all ,
I have an 02 Boxster s had it for a while it’s had a few of the usual problems but on the whole it’s been quite good for the 5 years I’ve had it - but it’s trying my patience a bit now. The alarm remote keys were playing up eating key batteries etc and then they stopped talking to the car, no problem as I could open the door manually with the key then quickly put the key in the ignition and it would be fine. But recently the main battery has gone flat over the winter layup over Christmas, it does this from time to time when inactive so still no problem. But this time the manual key stopped opening the door. I made a coat hanger style hook to open using the inside handle which also refused to work ! I called a local car lock smith who also used his professional coat hanger to no avail and said break the window. So in preparation I bought a spare door glass and when it arrived I gaffer taped the original one up ready to break it . I tried the key one last time as I really didn’t want to break the window and lo and behold the bloody lock worked ( but only the once - no I tried it with the door open !) Anyway I then put my jump starter on the fuse box and no ignition lights but the alarm was going for gold. So next step arch liner out and bumped the bonnet to retrieve the battery for charging/ replacing. Now here’s the problem with my jump battery installed the ignition lights don’t come on but the alarm is still sounding —- any ideas !! Thanks for reading this far and for any suggestions in advance
