New to me 986

Greetings!

I just inherited my Dad's pride and joy, a 1998 base Boxster Tip. I drove it all the way from VT to TX over Memorial Day weekend. The simple little thing is growing on me! It now has 80k miles.

This is not my my first Porsche by a long shot, but it is my first Boxster (and droptop of any make). I joined here to learn all I can about this car. I have other cars to go fast, so my goal with this Boxster is to preserve its reliability and condition, give it some modest updates, and keep it a comfortable sporty runabout that my Dad would be proud of.

Nice to meet you all, and looking forward to the learning (and hopefully contributing).

Congratulations, I have driven my Boxster from Dallas to Orange county CA in 24 hours, only stopping for lunch & gas.
