New Porsche owner 2003 986 Boxster S

Hello
My first post as I’ve just joined after buying my first Porsche 4 days ago. I live in Sydney Australia and I’ve already learnt from this forum about the likely cause of peske oil leaks from spark plug tubes. Still drives well and wife and I enjoying the experience.

Welcome to the forum. You will love the 03 S. Just a point on the spark plug tubes on 03 and newer Boxsters. They are not plastic as in prior years but metal and a part of the valve lifter housing and they are not replaceable without opening the engine. See this from Pedros site.

Change Spark Plugs & Tubes

I would suggest that your oil leak is likely from another location.

Also, show us some pictures!
