So, apparently, I bought 1.5 Boxsters

Hello everyone. I recently bought a 2001 Boxster S with 123,000 miles. The car is White with a tan interior and a manual transmission. It has some needs, but it runs and drives and the price was too good to be true. I did pay a local specialist for a PPI so I would know the extent of what I was getting into.

The car had some parts removed due to recent maintenance (wheel well liners, engine cover, etc). The previous owner said he had those parts plus “some extra stuff” that would be included with the car. When I went to pick up the “extra stuff”, I realized that he had a parts car that he had stripped of “all useful items”, and even had the fasteners bagged and tagged separately.

It will take me a while to figure all this out, but I am looking forward to it, and spending time on this board.

Be careful with the parts. They are from a base. The muffler shows it. The suspension and transmission parts aren't the same. Whether they are the same vintage may also affect how useful the pile is!

Thank you Anker.

The seller did tell me the parts car was a base Boxster. I figure anything I can't use, I can sell to someone else who can use it.
